You've probably been checking your inbox, wondering when your Noochies will finally arrive. You expected them this summer. It's June, and they still aren't there.
Nearly all of you have stayed with us anyway, patient and supportive, all the way. We appreciate that more than we can say. And honestly, it sucks for us too that they aren't on your feet yet.
Here's something we kept getting wrong. Every week we'd think: not enough concrete news yet, let's wait so we can share more. And every week turned into another week. We didn't want to send "we still don't know." Looking back, the silence was worse. We'd rather tell you we don't know than tell you nothing.
Pinning down an exact date for a shoe this new is hard. Dozens of hands across several countries, and if one link slips, the whole chain slips with it. Then there's customs: our materials are so new that inspectors often need extra time to clear them, and you never quite know how long that takes.
But quiet didn't mean standing still. Here's exactly where your shoes are today:
- The soles (Pliant): the material has cleared the full process and arrived at the factory. They're making the soles right now.
- The upper (Hyphalite): being produced at the supplier as we speak. Once it's finished it ships to our factory in Portugal. We expect it there by the end of June, depending on transport and how fast customs clears it.
What happens next: the moment the Hyphalite lands in Portugal, final production can officially start. The factory needs about four weeks to craft them.
This is the timeline we're working on. It's a target, not a guarantee, because as we've learned, things can still shift. But here's the full plan, nothing hidden:
- June 23: material finished at the supplier
- Early July: material arrives in Portugal (air freight plus customs)
- August 7: shoes finished and loaded onto the truck in Portugal
- August 11 to 13: arrival at our fulfillment center in the Netherlands
- Mid-August: on your doorstep
We’ve reached a critical crossroads, and we want to be completely transparent with you: To make up for lost time and get your Noochies to you as fast as possible, we have decided to fly the materials to Portugal rather than waiting for sea freight.
Honestly? We hate having to do this. But after all the delays, getting your Noochies onto your feet is our absolute priority.
To offset the extra emissions, we are buying and permanently destroying EU carbon allowances through our partner, WISE.
