We're almost there

Noochiepreneur

Hi, our dearest Nooch fans from the very beginning,

We need to get this off our chests, so here’s an honest update about your shoes.

We would have loved to give you a specific delivery date, but unfortunately we can’t do that just yet. And to be honest, it’s driving us a bit mad too. But time and again, we realise why we started this in the first place: the polluting footwear industry simply has to change, and we’re so close. Giving up isn’t an option.

Where are we now?
Production is likely to start in the second week of November, but we don’t even dare to promise that 100 per cent yet. However, we’re continuing to push and apply pressure as hard as we can. We understand this isn’t what you want to hear, and believe us, we’re just as gutted about it. Making these unique, sustainable shoes is simply proving to be incredibly complicated.

We’ve now reached a crucial point. We need your support more than ever. Without you, our first group of customers, we won’t make it. That’s why we’d like to know: where do you stand on this? Are you still enthusiastic about our mission and willing to be patient for a little while longer?

Out of the 533 people who placed an order, only three have asked for a refund. One of them did so because she’s getting special, bespoke shoes. That shows just how amazing our community is and how much you believe in what we’re doing.

Even so, we send out every update with sweaty palms, because the last thing we want is to lose your trust.

Despite the challenges, fortunately some great things are happening too: A nice example is the unexpected attention our Noochies have received – Stuart Goldsmith, a well-known comedian who makes jokes about climate change, is going to wear a pair of sample Noochies during a performance watched by over a million people! We owe this to Karl, one of our wonderful customers from England.

About sizing:
Almost everyone has now had their feet physically measured. We use this data, along with the size you’ve provided, for production. We’ve also further developed our app, but it’s still in its ‘teenage years’. We need more foot data to refine it further. If you’d like, you can try out the beta version via this link

We’re incredibly grateful for your support and can’t wait to see you in your Noochies soon! Some really wonderful things are happening, but to be honest, our punching bag has really been put through its paces lately.

Just hang in there a little longer. It’s the home stretch now…

Best wishes,
Stefan and Lotte
