You’re probably wondering: when will my Noochies arrive? Unfortunately, we have to tell you that we still aren’t sure at the moment. We’d like to give you an honest update on the situation.
Fortunately, the factory in Portugal has been up and running again since 8 September. However, our sole supplier is experiencing delays. We still haven’t received a clear answer as to why this is the case or when we’ll actually be able to start production. It’s enough to drive you mad.
We’ve also learnt something about the material. The manufacturer that supplies the sole material also produces the material for the upper (the plant-based leather in our shoes). As more and more people are using their Noochies intensively, we’re unfortunately seeing quality issues with that material.
Fortunately, the world doesn’t stand still. Better and even more sustainable alternatives are now available. Behind the scenes, we’ve recently been testing a new material and have decided to switch to it. So your Noochies are getting a massive upgrade, and we can’t wait for you to see the difference with your own eyes!
We’re doing everything we can to get started as soon as possible, and we’re just as gutted that it’s taking even longer. Everything now depends on this step. Our campaign, the delivery date for the trainers, the further marketing of Nooch – everything has to wait until production can begin. We’re so keen to move forward and we hate this waiting and this dependence just as much as you do.
But we’re staying strong and remain confident that everything will work out. As soon as we have more clarity on the schedule, we’ll get back to you straight away.
